Who Am I? What Do I Do?

After working for a busy financial company for several years I decided to embark on a new career in my passion of holistic therapies. I enrolled on a full time course in holistic therapies which taught me a variety of new skills and enabled me to develop my love of therapies which I had been interested in since childhood. I successfully completed the course in June 2004.

I became a mobile therapist for the next couple of years delivering care to people with different needs in the comfort of their own home. Since 2004 I have continued to enhance my skills so that I can offer clients a wide range of treatments and have qualified in Indian Head Massage, Thai Foot Massage, Hot Stone Massage, Crystal Therapy and Hopi Ear Candling.

Over the years I have had more and more clients come to see me with stress related problems which have manifested in physical and emotional pain. The benefits of the treatment along with positive thinking and a slight change of lifestyle have been outstanding. I continue to increase my knowledge and expertise in this area as I believe that many ailments are caused by stress.  Helping people achieve a stress free life is beneficial for everybody in today’s society.

This year has seen some changes to my career including joining the NHS directory of complementary therapists, undertaking treatments for Marie Curie cancer unit and working at ACT. I will continue with my annual continual professional development by participating in advanced massage and advanced reflexology. In addition I am starting my PGCE in September which on completion will enable me to teach therapies in my field. In the near future I will continue with my love of healing and energy therapies by following a healing course.
