Who am I? What do I do?
My interest in Complementary Therapies began at a young age and I have always been passionate about promoting health and wellbeing. I studied Health and Social care in college and worked part time as a skincare therapist and when I was 19, enrolled on to a 4yr Degree course in Complementary Therapies at the School of Health Sciences at UWIC.
As my knowledge in Complementary Therapies grew, so did my passion to help others and I began to treat friends and family members with different conditions such as eczema, arthritis, insomnia and stress related conditions. During my last year at UWIC, I worked on voluntary placement at George Thomas Hospice providing Aromatherapy, Massage and Reflexology for terminally ill patients. This was an eye opening experience for me and allowed me to develop greatly as a therapist.
In my spare time I enjoy cooking, dancing, pilates and seeing friends. I also have a great interest in expanding my therapy base and have a particular interest in meditation and hypnotherapy.
After graduating in 2011, I started practicing as a therapist both from home and mobile. I have been providing therapies for three years in Cardiff and the surrounding area. I apply a lot of different aspects of what I learned during my four years studying as a therapist such as Nutrition and Anatomy and Physiology to all therapies I provide. I carry out a full initial consultation for each client allowing me to assess your needs and treat the body holistically.
If you have any questions about the therapies I offer or to book a treatment please get in touch.
I look forward to meeting you soon.
Cathy
