Who Am I? What Do I Do?
I have held an interest in acupuncture for many years. I am from Cardiff and live and practice here.
I discovered acupuncture after having treatment for stress type symptoms, I was working in financial services, working long hours etc and over time this was starting to affect my mood, sleep and energy levels. After speaking to a friend who had been helped by acupuncture I decided to give it a try. The result was a complete turnaround in my symptoms within a few weeks and I was inspired enough to want to become an acupuncturist.
I studied at the renowned College of Integrated Chinese Medicine (“CICM”) in Reading. The course provides a comprehensive degree level training and graduates of CICM are granted automatic membership to the British Acupuncture Council, the largest professional body for acupuncture in the UK.
I have a good understanding of illness from a Western perspective from my Biology degree (specialising in pharmacology and physiology) with the course at CICM also providing a comprehensive ‘Conventional Medical Sciences’ programme.
I have successfully treated many patients for a wide range of health complaints. Please call or email and we can have a ‘no obligation’ chat about how acupuncture can help you.
For the benefits of using a member of the British Acupuncture Council (“BAcC”) please see "Why use a BAcC member" at:
